Cup-Lock (cup type) scaffolding systems are used both as shoring scaffolding and facade scaffolding.
It is a high-strength scaffolding system used in heavy slabs and high-rise buildings. It is designed according to the slab load and geometry. Since the connection components are integrated, there is no material loss. The connection of the horizontal element to the vertical element is secured by a hammer blow. As the connection is not pinned, the head of the horizontal element must be fully seated in the upright’s cup. Otherwise, a secure connection is not achieved.
It is highly resistant to axial loads. To increase its resistance to lateral loads, diagonal bracing must be provided at certain points with tube clamps. The cup-lock uprights forming the system are manufactured from Ø48×3 mm S35JR industrial steel pipes. In the cup-lock scaffolding system, cups are located on the uprights at intervals of 50 cm or 100 cm. Uprights are produced in lengths of 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 cm. The cups are made of 5 mm sheet metal and are welded to the uprights. These cups feature movable cups, manufactured from spheroidal cast iron, which secure the horizontal elements. Since a rigid system is formed by the connection of horizontal and vertical elements, a buckle-safe, high load-bearing capacity, and secure scaffolding installation is ensured. Horizontal connections with forged heads are produced from Ø48×2.5 mm S35JR industrial steel pipes in lengths of 70, 100, 120, 150, 200, 250, 300 cm.
